It’s pretty unlikely. We know that most other planets in our solar system are hostile to life as we know it. There may be other planets in our universe that could have life like us, but it would take at least hundreds of years to travel from those planets to ours. Do you think your teachers are hundreds of years old?

There probably life somewhere else in the universe but it’s too far away for us ever to meet them. There is always a slim chance though….
