I think Sixty Symbols (http://www.sixtysymbols.com/index.html) is an amazing project and I really want to see it grow so that it reaches more people.
I don’t think there’s much point finding out new things about the universe if we don’t tell people about them!
You should vote for me so that you can keep finding out more about scientists and what they do through SIxty Symbols!

I do an astronomy club at a school that had enough money to buy their own telescope and I saw how much it got the kids into science. I want to give more schools the chance to set up their own astronomy clubs.

Popularising science is really important, and you realise that when you see how journalists can easily distort scientific evidence, or how a larger and larger percentage of the population believes in false myths, and public decisions are taken with no rational or informed basis. This is why I am putting all my best efforts to try to explain what we do, and what we know!
