This is a much debated topic.
Global warming is most definitely real, and the consensus that its human-induced is staggering as well. The effects this will have is however very difficult to predict accurately as the climate system is incredibly complex. The problem isn’t so much when the ice caps on Greenland and elsewhere will melt – it will surely take more than a century – but that we’re fast approaching a point of no return, dooming ourselves to a future of conflict, social unrest and suffering affecting hundreds of millions of people before the turn of the century.

Global warming does exist and is happening. If you look at the evidence there has been a sharp increase in temperature over the last century. The real question is why. It could be due to natural causes, as the temperature of the globe does change over time. However the suddeness of the change suggests that we had something to do with it as well. Either way, I think it’s a good idea to cut down our impact on the globe. Without even considering Global Warming, we’re still effecting the environment way too much.
