Magic is science. The science of making people believe an illusion. Darren Brown has a excellent TV show on this, showing how he manipulates people and perceptions to get what you’d call magic.

Magic is science. There is always an explanation for the trick, even if it’s really not obvious when you first see the trick. There’s a million dollar prize offered by the James Randi Educational Foundation to any one who can show that they have psychic or magic abilities. So far no one has won the money!

A famous sci-fi author, Arther C. Clarke, famously once said.

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”

Anything you see as magic is just science hidden behind showmanship and entertainment.

Magic is science that the audience watching the magic doesn’t understand. It’s an illusion. The magician will understand the science behind the magic though.
