• Question: The moon Europa has water on it's surface and an atmosphere containing oxygen, do you think there is any chance we could live on Europa in the future?

      Europa has a solid surface, but there are people who think it’s liquid underneath like lava on earth. It’s really cold there, and the pressure under water would be ridiculously high so I doubt we would. There are better places to try first.

      It would be easier for us to live there than a lot of other places in our solar system. But Europa is a very long way from the Sun, and so it doesn’t get very much of the Sun’s energy. We need the energy from the Sun to make our food, and most of our sources of energy. Before we move to Europa we would have to work out how to make food and energy with out relying on the Sun.

      waaay too cold!!! again, we should really try to preserve as well as possible our beautiful Earth, without dreaming of going anywhere else, there is really no alternative
