• Question: what do you think happens when we die ?

      well, the heart stops beating, so no oxygen gets to the brain, and its cells, the neurons, stop working. Once they do, there is no way to bring them back to function, this is why a flat brain scan is the clear sign of death (while people can recover from a temporary stop of heart beats)

      What I know is what happens to the body, that it gets broken down and all the nutrients go back into the soil. Eventually those nutrients help feed the grass and we return to the great circle of life (for further information, see the Lion King).

      There’s no evidence that anything happens to our conscious mind when our brain shuts down or that we experiance anything after death, but I like to think that if we do have a soul a similar thing happens.

      Our life ends.
      I don’t believe in life after death, if thats what your eluding to. A little sad perhaps, but wanting there to be something else doesn’t necessarily make it true.

      The organs in your body become too broken and stop working. I don’t think there’s any part of us that lives on after our body dies, although I can’t know this for certain.
