      It is the first step in the professional life of a scientist. I like my job very much. Its never boring, very challenging and I get to travel a lot.

      First you have finish your PhD at university (the doctorate), then you start doing research at the postdoctoral researcher level. Later on you add more teaching and eventually become a university professor or senior researcher.
