      Well there are lots of pretty pictures but most of these aren’t actually what you’d see if you’d looked with your own eyes. They’ve been manipulated to look like that because they’re in the UV or infra-red, wavelengths you can’t see with your eyes. Their beautiful and very important, but I look at them like works of art.

      The most stunning, and most moving, thing I’ve ever seen is the Milky Way. You can only see it when it’s really clear and there’s no light pollution. I didn’t have a telescope or binoculars or anything, so I was looking with my eyes only. You can’t make out all the individual stars and it’s just this huge milky band across the sky. If you’re ever somewhere away from light pollution and it’s a clear night make sure to look up and try to find it.
