Well at CERN I get to blow up protons (tiny particles that are part of atoms), which I think is pretty cool! I think it’s amazing that we even have the ability to blow up things that are so so small and that are inside atoms 🙂

Aside from that though, when I was a kid I created quite a few explosions: I nearly blew up a wing of my school by accident in chemistry class. I made a flamethrower that could shoot flames about 20 metres (it eventually broke and exploded as I was running away from it). I made a 2 metre long cannon that created the loudest noise I’ve ever heard when I fired it (I’m still slightly deaf in one ear thanks to it). And I’ve blown up various other stuff. Not sure which one is the coolest though.

I should add… don’t ever ever try any of that kind of stuff yourself!! I very nearly lost my right eye on one occasion, and I’ve had to spend time in hospital to be treated for burns, all due to doing stupid stuff as a kid. To be honest I’m very lucky to be alive. So don’t try and copy me!! You’ve been warned.
