• Question: will the plates move back into pangea or so no countries are attached, we are all individual islands?

      the continents are still drifting away from each other, so at least in the forseable future they will stay separate

      The continents are currently drifting away from each other but we don’t really understand how the motion of the Earth’s core work. One day the continents could collide with each other again but it wouldn’t be back into pangea. It would be some other arrangement.
