• Question: do u ever shorten words

      I do when I talk, all the time. I make up words a lot as well, but people tend to be able to work out what I’m on about.

      Sometimes, quite often things in science have very long and complicated names and it’s helpful to shorten them so you can have a conversation about them with out it taking hours!
