      there are good and bad points, to be completely honest with you.
      Good points are of course freedom, intellectual stimuli, having to do with intelligent people.
      The drawbacks are that you often have the feeling that society does not recognise or understand what we do, it is a very difficult life from the practical point of view (like it is hard to get a job, you work long hours etc.)

      I love being a scientist. I feel so lucky to get paid for doing something I enjoy all day!
