• Question: Do you think that dark energy could effect our planet?

      We don’t know very much about what dark energy is, so it’s hard to say ho it would affect us! But we know that we haven’t seen any signs of it on Earth so far, we only see how it affects how the universe is evolving.
      But we hope that studying dark energy, and learning more about what it is and what it can do, will lead to new technology and improvements in our life on Earth. Every time we understand something new about our universe scientists and engineers find a way to make it useful. But at the moment we don’t know what those new technologys will be. Just like when people were first studying electricity – they had no idea just how useful it would be!
