• Question: Do you think that in the future we will be able to make it to other galaxies?

      Galaxies? Probably not. Their just too far away. Other stars though maybe one day, but not for many years. People are thinking about how we’d do it, but it’s still quite a lot of science fiction rather than fact.

      It seems very unlikely, they’re just so far away.
      Some scientists think that there might be extra dimensions of space that we can’t see in our daily lives, and they suggest that it might be possible to take a ‘short cut’ through the extra dimensions to get to far away galaxies.
      But no one knows yet if these extra dimensions really exist, let alone whether you’d be able to travel through them.
