  Very likely. It is extremely important to not expose yourself to X-rays, or any other ionizing radiation because its very efficient at killing live cells. We are very careful about this, and carry a dosimeter (a thing that measures how much exposure to x-rays ones had) at all times in the lab just to be sure.
  
  That X-rays kill cell is also a useful property though, as it properly delivered, it can kill tumour cells and help cure people with cancer!
