No one really knows for certain, but it’s a huge number. We think there are hundreds of billions of galaxies in our universe, and hundreds of billions of stars in each galaxy. I make that roughly 10 sextillion (10 thousand billion billion) stars!!!!!

There are various estimates on the number of stars in a galaxy. It varies from a million all the way up to a trillion. There are around a hundred billion galaxies in the universe at current estimate.
