• Question: how many universes are there that we know about?

      There’s only one that we know about and that’s the one we live in. Some theories of how our universe works also predict the existence of other universe, but it’s very hard to think of a way in which we would ever be able to know if they are there or not.

      Only one that we know of. There may be others, but we don’t yet have the technology to work out if they are there or not. We still don’t fully understand how this universe that we’re in works, so we’ve got a lot of work still to do 😛

      Ours is the only one we know or have ever observed anything about. This is actually rather unlike to change any time soon, if ever!

      So far only 1, though various different theories predict more.
