• Question: scientists, if you have watched the film gattaca. do u think there will have two classes. ones tht can afford genetic engineering and those who cant?

      If genetic engineering becomes main stream there’s a real possibility that could happen. However, gattaca does exaggerate everything a lot, and there real issue of the film is the mentality of the society rather than the technology they have available.

      have not seen the movie, but think about this: we all say we live in the digital era, with internet technologies etc; well, over a billion people never did a phone call in their life.

      It could happen, but I really hope not. Currently there are loads of laws to stop that sort of thing from happening.
