There is no way you can travel faster than light!
however you can get close to it, at least in principle; at the speed of light it may take a few hours to reach the borders of the solar system, while for normal spacecrafts it takes years

Recently I’ve been studying at new types of particles (which may or may not exist) which might be able to go faster than light. But even then it seems like the particles we are made of are not able to travel faster than light, so we are going to be forced to travel slowly (only 3 hundred million meters per second!) around our galaxy.

It depends how fast the spaceship went. It’s unlikely we’ll ever be able to build one faster than the speed of light. If we could got at light speed it would still take over 5 hours to get there.
