Well a nebula is sometimes called a stellar nursery. It’s a big cloud of gas, mostly hydrogen with some helium and small amounts of other elements. The gas starts to attract itself due to gravity and forms a ball which eventually becomes large enough to catch fire and become a star.

A nebular is a big cloud of dust and gas hanging around in the space between the stars.
