      chimpanzees!
      we do have 98% of our DNA in common with them!

      We think that the starting point of all life on Earth was tiny single celled organisims. Then some of these cells started to group together and found that they survived better that way. That’s how more complicated animals and plants began to evolve. More recently (about 10 million years ago!) we would have been apes.

      First we were just a random pile of amino acids that somehow created bacteria. At some point one of those bacteria went into the other and formed a cell. Then they started replicating and evolving and a few billion years later Voila!
