      I use a variety of languages to write programs and scripts, bases on whichever is most convenient for the problem at hand. This includes languages like C, Matlab, Python and others.

      The goal is to compute something, automate a task, or find a solutions to a particularly annoying or difficult problem – very little can be actually solved by paper and pen these days, and computational work is often very helpful.
