I hadn’t done any work experience that was relevant to the degree I was applying for (which was maths) although I had worked as a care assistant in a nursing home. It’s important to show the university you’re applying to that you’re interested in your subject, but you can do this by reading books and the internet, and finding out which parts of the course really interest you.
nothing at all, just went to school and got very good grades. I think being good at school is the most important thing if you want to go to a good university
I didn’t have any that was to do with physics, but I did have a paper round and then a saturday job at a florists when I was growing up. My parents wouldn’t give me any money unless I earned some myself, which I’m thankful for. It taught me the value of money.
